Knives by Master Smith Gary Anderson
This is a Scottish Damascus Dirk, with all silver fittings and a traditional carved blackwood handle. Blade length is 13 1/2” this design is early 16th century ablade forge like this one would go for $725.00 with a wooden sheath
A sweet sized skinner, done in 9260 tool steel with a brass guard and curly maple handle. With sheath this would be priced at $185.00
This is a neat fighter style knife, with an unusual forged steel D guard in the rough, the guard and end cap are shaped like leaves and the handle retaining nut is shaped like an acorn and done in brass. The handle is of white tail deer. A similar piece with sheath would be $295.00
A most unusual blade, I call this one a ladies hatpin dagger. This blade is equipped with polyester pearl handle, and Mokume’ Gana for the guard and end cap. Something like it would go for $225.00 with a matching sheath.
Our traditional carving knife set, corn not included!! We do make this with a nice matching stand, the blade and fork are of W2 tool steel with a walnut handle. For us to forge you a similar set, it would sell for $325.00
A sampling of our work, from a rat tail folder to a Traditional Bowie with Stag handle, to a hatchet with silver inlaid and differential stained handle.
